Description
A Memoir of Healing from Emotional Abuse, Divorce, and Divine Transformation, author Tiffany M. Civers peels back the layers of silence and shame to tell the unfiltered truth of what it means to survive emotional abandonment from the inside out.
From bruises no one could see to prayers whispered through tears, she invites readers into the raw, intimate space between heartbreak and healing.
While her story begins in a marriage, this story is really about identity, healing, and becoming—about loving someone who no longer sees you, and finding the courage to see yourself again.
Through the scars, silence, and shattered expectations, this book walks through Civers’ journey of waking up—not just from the dream of what her relationship was supposed to be, but into the truth of who she really is.
For the woman who’s been bruised, silenced, or unseen—standing in the ashes of what should have been:
There is still life. There is still purpose.
And through it all, it’s gonna be alright.

This book pulls no punches. It is not written from a clinical perspective.. It is written from a real and raw perspective.
It does not lead the reader to look for a mental health diagnosis for themselves or the possible abuser. It leads us to examine and deal directly with pain that can potentially paralyze us. Kudos to Tiffany for her realness!
